How we work

Maze - 1160x700.jpg

Explore all avenues

Regardless of your experience in credit insurance markets, we start by taking the time to understand your particular purchasing needs. We work closely with you on a 4 step process to enable the insurance markets to propose potential solutions that best answer your unique business objectives and situation.

  • 1. Discovery

Our fact-finding process covers your motivation for purchasing insurance, such as protecting your balance sheet from unexpected credit losses, facilitating access to trade finance, access to information or to out-source part or all of your credit management function.

We analyse your sales ledger and credit management procedures to establish the optimum price and risk sharing parameters and to size the amount of credit capacity required from the insurance markets.

  • 2. Detail

Fully understanding your business and insurance objectives, we plan your tailored insurance purchasing strategy.

Unlike some brokers who only work with preferred insurers, Avenue conducts a comprehensive review of the whole market on your behalf.

  • 3. Decision Support

We compare and contrast all your options and present the findings to you in a clear and transparent way, preferably face to face.

  • 4. Delivery

Avenue believes in close co-operation between the insured, the insurer and the broker. We promise to pro-actively ‘add value’ by facilitating dialogue, documenting rules of engagement between the parties and sharing key information- but never get in the way or slow things down.

Even if you don’t proceed with credit insurance, Avenue will ensure that you know every option open to you and how the market views your business profile.
